Active cheering and enthusiasm is encouraged. However, individual conduct must be bound by law and the rights of others to enjoy the event. Guest behavior cannot be unreasonable so as to offend others or be unreasonably abusive to players, officials or performers. Guests using foul language or appearing intoxicated are subject to eviction. SAP Center at San Jose staff reserves the right to evict guests whose behavior seriously affects the ability of others to enjoy the event.

For the safety of our guests and those of the athletes, guests are not permitted to pound on the glass that forms the perimeter wall of the ice rink.  Consistent and heavy pounding on the glass is known to result in the glass panels becoming dislodged and falling onto the hockey playing surface or into the stands causing significant injury.

We also prohibit a ticket holder from using admission to a game to generate publicity for the purpose of promoting and/or marketing other entities, events, and/or personalities without the prior written consent of the San Jose Sharks. The San Jose Sharks reserve the right to expel, without refund, any ticket holders whose behavior which, in the sole discretion of the San Jose Sharks, violates any these behavior policies. Continued violations of the behavior policies may result in the forfeiture of any remaining season tickets of the current season and any renewal privileges. Please notify a Guest Services Attendant if you witness any behavior violations.

Visiting Team Fans are our guests. Harassment of the visiting team or their fans will not be tolerated and may result in ejection from SAP Center.
