Last Thursday, the New England Patriots hosted the New York Giants for their second preseason game at Gillette Stadium. Unfortunately we lost to the, with a final score of 18-17. However, we do have some excellent news to report – 1,960 Patriots fans pledged to be designated drivers! Thanks to all of you who pledged, we are holding onto 1st place in the NFL – and we need YOUR help to stay here! Please visit us next game and pledge to buckle up, never drink and drive, and never provide alcohol to minors.

On September 12th, the Patriots will travel to Florida to take on the Miami Dolphins and return home on September 18th to face off against the San Diego Chargers. We can’t wait to see all of you at the regular season home opener when the Patriots take on the San Diego Chargers on September 18th! At the end of the season, one fan, the Patriots Designated Driver for the Season, will be the Honorary Team Captain and join the Patriots captains for the coin toss on the 50-yard-line to start the final home game of the season on January 1, 2012. The Patriots Designated Driver for the Season will also receive an autographed Patriots helmet and have a chance to follow the Patriots to Super Bowl XLVI at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN on February 5, 2012. At Gillette Stadium this season, there is no doubt that Responsibility Has Its Rewards.
