CHARGERS WIN THE 2010 DESIGNATED DRIVER CHALLENGE!

The Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers, AFC West Division rivals, have found a new way to compete this season. Each team offers fans the Designated-Driver Program. Fans who pledge to be designated drivers must meet the following criteria:
  • Designated Drivers must be over the age of 21
  • Designated Drivers must have a valid driver’s license
  • Designated Drivers must promise to not drink alcohol at the game
  • Designated drivers must ensure a safe ride home from the game for their friends and family
The winner of the Broncos/Chargers Designated-Driver Challenge will be the team with the most fans pledging to be designated drivers (cumulative total) at the last four home games of the 2010 regular season.

Scoring goes as follows:
  • TOUCHDOWN = 6 points for all in-stadium designated driver pledges
  • EXTRA POINT = 1 point for all Facebook "Likes" in response to program posts
  • SAFETY = 2 points (Broncos only) for each text of the keyword “DDGamePlan” to 89829 on game days
