Be a HERO. Be a Designated Driver.
Game 4 November 6, 2011

On Sunday, the New England Patriots hosted the New York Giants for their fourth regular season home game at Gillette Stadium. Unfortunately we lost to a heartbreaking Giants touchdown with 30 seconds left in the game, with a final score of 24 to 20.

Despite the loss, we do have some excellent news to report – 2,204 Patriots fans pledged to be designated drivers! New England Patriots fans have recorded the most designated driver pledges in the NFL to date, however, we can’t stop now! We must continue to plow ahead for the rest of the season to ensure our lead over the competition. You can help by visiting any of our booth locations at every home game. You can also text “HERO” to 78247, or email BeAHero@Patriots.com during the next home game to pledge to buckle up, never drink and drive, and never provide alcohol to minors.

Congratulations to our Designated Driver of the Game from the Patriots vs. Cowboys game, Jim Crowe! Jim and his family enjoyed a pre-game sideline visit while the Patriots warmed up. This can be YOU next game – just make the pledge to be a designated driver and you’ll be automatically entered into the drawing to receive this once in a lifetime experience! You don’t want to miss this!

The Patriots travel to MetLife Stadium this Sunday to take on the Jets and return to Gillette Stadium on November 21st to battle the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football! Remember to stop by our designated driver booths, make the pledge to be a designated driver, and receive your free wristband, soda and 10% discount at the online Patriots ProShop! We truly appreciate your support!

Remember to sign up at any of our designated-driver locations:

  • Each of the stadium gates
  • Guest Service Booths at the 50 yard lines on the 100 and 300 level concourses
  • Each Concierge Booth in the Putnam Club

At the end of the season, one fan, the Patriots Designated Driver for the Season, will be the Honorary Team Captain and join the Patriots captains for the coin toss on the 50-yard-line to start the final home game of the season on January 1, 2012. The Patriots Designated Driver for the Season will also receive an autographed Patriots helmet and have a chance to follow the Patriots to Super Bowl XLVI at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN on February 5, 2012. At Gillette Stadium this season, there is no doubt that Responsibility Has Its Rewards.
