CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS - WINNERS OF THE 2011 DESIGNATED DRIVER CHALLENGE WITH THE COLORADO ROCKIES! GREAT JOB D-BACKS!
	This season, the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies are taking their National League West rivalry to the streets, literally. Each D-backs fan who pledges to be a designated driver at Chase Field will earn the D-backs 1 point in the challenge. The same goes for each Rockies fan who signs the pledge at Coors Field. The winner of the D-backs/Rockies Designated-Driver Challenge will be the Club with the most fans pledging to be designated drivers (cumulative total) at the end of the 2011 regular season. In addition to bragging rights, the Designated-Driver Challenge winner will receive a very special trophy at a ceremony held in October in the city of the winning Club. The trophy will be displayed proudly in the ballpark of the winning Club for one year, until the next year’s winner is determined. Whenever each Club hosts the other, special promotions at the ballparks will help increase fan awareness and participation in the designated-driver programs. A 10-foot tall inflatable baseball will be on display outside each ballpark. Fans who pledge to be designated drivers will have the unique opportunity to autograph the ball. Partners in the program include MillerCoors, TEAM Coalition, state offices of highway safety, state patrol offices and the concessionaire organizations at both ballparks.
