The Cascadia Responsibility Challenge (CRC) is a competition among three MLS Clubs: Portland Timbers, Seattle Sounders FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC. The winner of CRC will be the MLS club with the most total points at the end of the 2012 regular season.

The clubs need help from their fans in order to earn points in three possible ways:
  • Budweiser GOOD SPORT Designated Driver Program. Fans who make the pledge to be a designated driver at the Budweiser GOOD SPORT booth at the game will earn their favorite MLS club 3 points in the Challenge. Designated drivers must be 21 years of age or older in Portland and Seattle and 19 years of age or older in Vancouver, promise not to drink alcohol at the game and provide safe and sober transportation for their group. Fans may only pledge to be designated drivers once per game.

  • Responsible Fan Pledge. Fans who make the online pledge to be a responsible MLS fans will earn their favorite MLS club 1 point in the Challenge. Responsible MLS fans must promise to follow the Fan Code of Conduct for their favorite club. They must also promise to never drive drunk and always plan to have a safe ride home by means of a designated driver, taxi or public transportation. Fans may only make the online pledge once per day.   • Facebook "Likes" for Challenge Messages. Fans who "Like" Facebook messages posts by the clubs on their official Facebook pages will earn their their favorite MLS club 1 point in the Challenge. The MLS clubs will be responsible for posting the messages and tallying the "Likes." There is no limit to the number of Facebook messages the clubs may post about the Cascadia Responsibility Challenge.
The Cascadia Resonsibility Challenge Standings are updated on a weekly basis.
